Lochluichart Estate
Lochluichart Estate have known and worked with Steven Liddle for a number of years starting when he was previously working with Scottish Woodlands.
Upon Steven starting Greenbeard Forestry we moved all our Forestry interests from Scottish Woodlands over to the new company, something that we have never regretted.
Steven implemented our long term forest plan 10 years ago and we are now in the process of carrying out a revision and establishing a new up to date plan.
Greenbeard Forestry has always taken into account objectives of Lochluichart Estate regarding sporting interests, biodiversity and good habitat management.
We have carried out a number of new native woodland schemes over the years with Greenbeard Forestry, probably totalling in excess of 250h, all of these schemes have been very successful, and no extra planting has been required.
We have carried out continuous thinning throughout our mature woodland and extensive natural regeneration has occurred.
Some of our mature commercial woodland has been clear felled and replanted, it is well established with no issues.
The estate has done three peatland restoration schemes over many hectares, these schemes have been very successful Greenbeard Forestry did all the mapping and grant application with Nature Scot and project managed the schemes.

Kinnordy Estate
I was introduced to Steve by a mutual friend. He turned me from a bit of a forestry sceptic to a landowner who was enthusiastically planting a 300 hectare Woodland Creation Scheme, all in about two years. Spending time out in our woodlands with him has made me look at our trees in a very different light.
